Katan in Sukkah; Sukkah Keva, Rain, Mashal
The sugya
The shiur finished the Gemara on the Mishnah of a katan she'eino tzarich l'imo, including the story of Shammai's grandson. It then learned the last Mishnah of the second perek: for all seven days a person makes his sukkah keva and his house arai, and he may leave when rain would spoil the mikpeh, with the mashal of the eved and his master. It went on to the Braisa that gives examples and the source, tashvu k'ein taduru, including the addition that one learns in the sukkah. It ended with a preview of Rava's distinction between two kinds of learning.
